Lunch at Din Tai Fung Chef’s Table at Mall Alam Sutera was a sad experience. Practically more than half the seats were empty during Sunday lunch. Xia long bao wasn’t all that great; we found some hard particles inside the kang kung dish; roasted duck was too chewy. The only generic menu I can takeaway would be the hot and sour soup and mayo shrimp. One positive was that there was this one waitress who was extremely friendly and prompt.
