Previously known as Genbu – Premium Katsu & Bar changed its flagship product to chirashi (chirashizushi) and its name to KAI JIN – Kaisen Sakaba. We tried the Omakase Kaisen-Don and bottom line, it was an amazing dish. The fish cuts were very fresh and chunky. The soy sauce was well mixed with the egg, fish eggs and the veggies to create a flavorful dish. Must try. Also the shop is fully packed with people post the transformation, so reserve in advance! Upgraded to 4 stars!

Genbu was widely known in the social media world. Most of my friends were visiting the place and posting pictures, so I decided to stop by. Cutting to the chase, I was pretty disappointed by the quality of the meat – they were so chewy. This was not what I paid for. The sides were also weak.
