This was a big surprise prepared by Hanwha Life X Lippo Group. The host invited superstar Chef Yoo Hyun-soo (Tony Yoo) to Jakarta and served us Korean fine-dining experience.

The theme for Chef Yoo’s course was “Homesick” – given most participants were aliens in Indonesia. And he interpreted the love for our home as craving the basic form of Korean food – which was the “jang” (e.g., goch-jang, dwen-jang, etc).

He brought original “jang”s from Korea and served us a 5-course Korean meal. Soup, appetizer, noodle, main course and dessert. Each dish had distinctive philosophy behind it and I can say that this experience was the best Korean fine-dining experience ever!
