We had troubles dining in at Wanmi Jokbal 완미족발. At our first visit, their daily sales portion was sold out. And, at our second visit (weekday lunch), the shop was closed, because we didn’t know that Wanmi Jokbal 완미족발 was open at 4pm. Anyway the craving level for a quality piece of Jokbal 족발 was now at its peak. The interior wasn’t that big. I remember they had 8 to 10 tables. At the point of entry, they had this writing on the wall that said “세계 최초 족발 오마카세” which means “The world’s first Jokbal 족발 Omakase”.

Before the main course, we ordered a small (yet huge in portion) appetizer – Wang Jumeokbab 왕주먹밥. This rice ball was huge in size and was amazingly sugary (or savory). We actually never finished this until the end of the meal.
Next for the main course… We ordered the most basic set menu of Wanmi Jokbal 완미족발 – Namdoshik Han Sang Jokbal 남도식 한상족발. Take a look below. I think the actual served photo was exactly the same with the picture on the menu. Wanmi Jokbal 완미족발 serves you 18 different small side dishes for you to fully enjoy your jokbal 족발. This was just a different experience of enjoying your jokbal 족발. Indeed, most of the other jokbal 족발 shops didn’t have these sophisticated banchan 반찬 (Check out the links below).

I tried their 5 ways of eating the jokbal 족발. I particularly enjoyed their sushi way which involved putting the jokbal 족발 meat slice on top of the rice block. It was indeed a sushi style but having jokbal 족발 slice as your protein.
Other examples of Jokbal 족발 shops. Try to look at their small dish (banchan 반찬) servings. Wanmi Jokbal 완미족발 serves you 18 sides while the rest serves you less than 5. Must visit place in Suwon.
