[KR] Sutbulgui Mongro 숯불구이 몽로 @ Yeouido 여의도, Seoul

Sutbulgogi Mongro 숯불고기 몽로 is a Korean BBQ grill shop in the middle of the financial town, Yeouido 여의도. The shop is clean and fancy, which is perfect for business meetings. However, we note that the shop was a bit greedy, in a sense that they made all the private rooms so small that it was a bit crowded with 5 people in the private rooms.

We went for both the non-marinated and marinated versions of the beef. At the end of the day, we preferred the non-marinated one. The beef quality was good but not impressive. The marinated Galbi 양념갈비 didn’t have such sweet taste, which was how we liked it to be. Yuk sashimi 육사시미 was fresh in my standard but not all of my guests liked it.

Overall, the food quality was good enough to not be disappointed but wouldn’t come back for a family gathering. Private rooms are available but a little too small. The biggest downside was the mindset of the servers. Starting from the lady in the counter to all the waitresses, they were all unpleasant.
