If you’re hunting for truly exceptional Korean fried chicken in Bangkok, look no further than BHC Chicken (BHC Chicken Bangkok). Tucked away on the 3rd floor of One Bangkok Mall, this isn’t your typical brightly colored fast-food joint.

The exterior and interior boast a refreshingly minimalistic and clean aesthetic, so much so that you might mistake it for a trendy cafe. We visited during dinner time and were pleased to find it wasn’t crowded, with plenty of seating available—perfect for walk-ins at this popular new Bangkok shopping spot. The servers were incredibly attentive and responsive, clearly trained to maintain the high standards of the Korean franchise.

We were genuinely surprised by the extensive menu. BHC Chicken in Bangkok seems to have adopted a strong localization strategy, offering much more than just fried chicken. You’ll find dishes like fried rice and various noodle specialties—some offerings are quite unique!

This diverse menu clearly attracts a wide audience, as our fellow diners ranged from families with kids and couples to groups enjoying a boy’s night out. It’s certainly positioned itself as a versatile Korean dining experience, not just a chicken shop.

The Star of the Show: Our Korean Fried Chicken Tasting

We focused on three key items:

  • Original Fried Chicken: A classic must-try.
  • Bburinkle Chicken (뿌링클치킨): A fan favorite, especially popular with a younger crowd.
  • Cheese Balls: A mandatory side.

Original Fried Chicken: A Masterpiece of Crispness

​The regular fried chicken was an absolute winner. The crispness was amazing, and the seasoning was simply perfect. BHC is famous for using sunflower oil as its frying base, and you can truly taste the difference—it gives the chicken a remarkable freshness. The meat inside was super tender and juicy. That first bite delivered a perfect balance of crispiness, juiciness, and quality.

​Bburinkle & Cheese Balls: Sweet, Savory Sides

​My 15-year-old son, a true Bburinkle expert, thoroughly enjoyed the Bburinkle chicken. While it avoids the heavy MSG kick of some other brands, I personally found the signature powdered seasoning a bit too sugary for my taste. However, for fans of sweet-and-savory Korean chicken, it’s a hit.

​The cheese balls were a delightful surprise. They were perfectly fresh and burst with a decent amount of melted, gooey cheese inside. They are definitely a mandatory appetizer!

​Final Verdict & Must-Try Orders

​With its trendy, minimalistic interior and objectively tasty, high-quality chicken, BHC Chicken at One Bangkok Mall successfully ticks all the right boxes for any occasion. It currently faces little competition from other major Korean chicken chains in the immediate area, giving it a fortunate advantage.

​We will definitely be returning for more of that flawless fried chicken.
