Bamsae used to be a cheesy izakaya-style soju shop on Jl. Senayan, which underwent a complete overhaul (both interior and menu) and is now a trendy drink out place.

The new Bamsae now serves wide variety of cuisines including sashimi, jjigae, and even fried chicken. I especially enjoyed their uni with raw shrimp. Their fried chicken was pretty unique as well as it resembled the taste in Korea. It was not oily at all. We enjoyed their kimchi jjigae with pork belly. There was heavy sugary punch to it, but it was good to the tongue. We would reprder the mandu if we had enough people to share. Sashimi would not be on our favorite list as they had slight fishy smell to it. Dessert was also great for a finishing touch.
