Cutting to the chase, Grand Cafe was a better-than-expected dining experience. Grand Cafe is an Indonesian buffet, which differentiates itself from the other “continental” buffet places. I very much enjoyed the original taste of Indonesia and frankly, food quality was above average. Must try: 1. Chicken satay (one of the best in Jakarta), 2. Sop buntut (deep flavor and abundant ox tail chunks), and 3. Mie ayam (hand-made noodles and prepared with detail)!!!
