Update: I always feel like I’m being overly spoiled with such high-quality dishes (August 26, 2018)

Original review
One liner: Deep sophistication at first but long-lasting memorable taste at the end! I have to admit House of Yuen @ Fairmont Hotel is THE BEST dim sum place in Indonesia!! As a quick reference Sun Tung Lok’s HK restaurant is a Michelin star rated restaurant.
We tried two soups: one with crab meat and hot and sour soup with lobster meat. Both were high quality soups with sizable chunky meat contents.
The dim sum selections were also best-in-class. Never thought that dim sum could have this much sophistication to it. Rich in taste and full in flavor, House of Yuen dim sums were fantastic!
Out of the following dishes we tried, must try “Pan fried shrimp, shives dumpling”
Vegetables were decent in portion and pretty much expected. However, plain porridge was out-of-this-world menu and I highly recommend visitors to try. Porridge costs less than $2 but satisfaction comes with high value.
The interior was also something to takeout from our visit. Amazing ambience with careful luxury touch to the place.
