[SG] Qiu Lian Ban Mian @ Telok Ayer Market

Taystar @@@ 3/5

There was a long line in front of the shop. Qui Lian ban Mian cooks the noodle at the time of the order, hence, longer cooking (and waiting) time. The chef (husband) cooks three incoming orders at a time while the cashier (wife) gets the order – great teamwork!

I ordered the most favored Woo Mien and was simply amazed by the deepness of the broth (again, cooked at the time of the order). The dish had noodles with beef chunks, egg, veggies, anchovies and fried flakes – which was generally mediocre. The amazement comes simply from the deep sophistication of the soup cooked at such a short period of time.
