This is a well-known Singaporean restaurant chain in Indonesia. Their signature dish is Samsul Ginger Chicken – which is a serving of steamed chicken with ginger sauce, cucumber and lettuce. Rubbing the chicken cut with ginger sauce and wrapping it up with a crispy lettuce will get the job done.
However, I would have to say the chicken smell was a bit strong for me. The ginger sauce quickly neutralized the chicken smell, however, the first bite gave me a strong push back. Chicken ginseng soup was broadly generic with no specific edge. Steamed fish was amazing and a rare moment where the watery soy sauce was not salty at all. Salted egg shrimp was uninteresting
