Morukatsu 모루카츠 is a donkatsu spot in the hidden corner of Gwanghwamun 광화문 and they are very serious about their katsu. I tried their mix katsu (modum katsu, 모듬카츠) to get a general feel of their serving. The quailty and tenderness of the katsu were of super high quality and servers were also very friendly. Every bite reminded me of the time spend on perfecting this top-notch quailty food. Side dishes were equally good and the soup (tonjiru) was also great. The sauce they served had many flavors but I think they were a bit overly comfortable with yuja – which is not my favorite.
