The best marinated BBQ pork in Seoul. I still consider Heungbugol 흥부골 one of the best marinated pork grill spots in Seoul. Still sugary and addictive and naengmyeon 냉면 is given for free after the meat party. Wrap the meat up with perilla leaf; add a scoop of ssamjang 쌈장; couple of raw garlic slices and you are good to go.

Heungbugol 흥부골 specializes in marinated pork ribs 돼지갈비. It is arguably our family’s go-to place for bbq grill in Seoul.
In short, they have this magical touch of transforming a normal pork rib into a crazy and savory meat chunk. The meat quality is not overly good (in my view) but the seasoning is super duper addictive. Take it with some rice, lettuce, ssamjang 쌈장 and the whole thing explodes inside your mouth.
Also worth mentioning is their seasoned crab cuts ban chan 반찬 and their free naengmyeon 냉면. Definitely 5 star bbq shop!
