[ID] Privy @ Darmawangsa Square, Jakarta

Privy Italian American Steakhouse was a sweet discovery. The shop is a high-quality fine dining experience serving Italian American Steaks. Unfortunately, Privy’s location is very difficult to find… it’s on the top floor of the Darmawangsa Square and it’s uncommon to nest a steakhouse at the top floor of a mediocre shopping mall. In fact, we had some difficulties trying to locate the place. I don’t know whether that was by design or unintended.

We really enjoyed the overall dinner experience. Burrata salad was absolutely amazing with elegant flavor to it, combined with freshness. Funghi (mushroom soup) was so addictive and was one of the best mushroom soups I’ve ever had. And, their Wagyu ribeye steak was grilled with the perfect medium doneness. Portion was pretty big and the quality of the beef was absolutely amazing. Lastly, the fettuccine with wagyu and foie gras was literally singing in my mouth. Servers were very well-trained and attentive. Amazing fine dining experience.
