Choi Soon-ok Gukbab 최순옥명품국밥 is a well-known soup chain shop. The shop is a cozy little shop with not enough to fill a big crowd. Choi Soon-ok Gukbab 최순옥명품국밥 seems to have opened this branch not too long ago. Utensils were clean and furniture was fresh.

When the soondae gukbab 순대국밥 was served to me, I could still see the soup boiling – this soup was hot! First, I checked out the soondae contents and it was full of sundae 순대. I can’t remember how many soondae 순대 cuts were inside but it was more than enough for me to enjoy until I finished the meal. Secondly, I added a tad more perilla seeds to elevate the umami of my soup.
The soup was thick and creamy. I would assume that the base of this soondae gukbab 순대국밥 (and the rest of the soups) to be gomtang 곰탕. Or else, the soup could never be this thick.
