Eunha Jeongol 은하전골 was a small gobchang 곱창 specialty store. There weren’t too many people at our visit but that didn’t represent their gobchang 곱창 quality. The restaurant was clean and there was no smoky atmosphere. Ban chan 반찬 served was limited, but I acknowledge that’s the new trend in Korea – keeping costs low.

We ordered the “A Set” which included two portions of Gobchang grill 곱창구이 and Gobchang Jeongol 곱창전골. This way, you can get the best of both worlds – the grill and the soup. The soup came out first and as you can see in the pictures below, the jeongol 전골 had a generous pile of beef gobchang 곱창 and meat slices. There was also a good amount of veggies and noodles. When the jeongol 전골 started boiling, it’s time to dive right in. And, one sip would let you know that this shop is really serious about its jeongol 전골 (hence the name Eunha Jeongol 은하전골). The soup was really thick and deep.
While we were heating up the jeongol 전골, the gobchang grill 곱창구이 was served. The food was half grilled so all we needed to do was to grill the meat a tad while longer. The main characters on the cast iron grill were gobchang 곱창, makchang 막창, and daechang 대창. The gobchang 곱창 was full of gob 곱 that buttered my mouth; makchang 막창’s seasoning was alien to my tastebuds but super addictive and daechang 대창 maintained its full form and proved to be extra greasy. Just super nice!
If we ever re-visited the place, we would re-order:
