Haeundae Amsogalbi-jip 해운대암소갈비집 ‘s building stood out. It was a beautiful minimalistic building built on a big piece of land. Both the exterior and interior were minimalistic and super luxurious. Without knowing the place, no one would consider this a restaurant. We actually felt like we are walking inside a museum. The room was clean and had a nice with view of the garden.

Haeundae Amsogalbi-jip 해운대암소갈비집 only serves three beef menus – namely, 1) fresh beef ribs 생갈비, 2) marinated ribs 양념갈비, and 3) sirloin bulgogi 등심불고기. Our guests wanted some kick to the food, so we ordered marinated ribs and sirloin bulgogi for lunch. Among the two menus, we were divided. Some preferred the marinated ribs and some enjoyed the sirloin bulgogi. I would also recommend the two menus (either one). The beef quality was indeed super tender and juicy. The knife cuts on the ribs made the meat tender at the bite. Bulgogi was also super savory with their amazing bulgogi sauce – a perfect blend of sweetness and saltiness.

When the grill menus are almost consumed, we moved on to the potato noodles. I don’t remember hearing noodles made out of potatoes, but here we go. They pour the special sauce (probably soy based) on to the potato noodles to soak it and then pour the whole thing on the side part of the grill, where it gets cooked. I actually loved the potato noodles. It was very soft and sweet and the mixture of the soy-based sauce just pushed me to get some more.

The last part was the soybean paste stew. It wasn’t the best part of the lunch experience, but the soup was soothing and deep. The secret was in the meat bones. The ribs that were served for the grill were used in the making of the soybean paste soup. The combination was deep and soothing.

Definitely yes! We will always come back for more. In fact, I think we would visit Busan just to stop by Haeundae Amsogalbi-jip 해운대암소갈비집. It’s a must-visit Korean BBQ grill shop. They serve high-quality grilled beef with an amazing interior and friendly servers. You must try…
