The place is a small joint near the beachfront in Central Pattaya. Its pretty fancy in a sense that there were many foreigners visiting the shop. The shop has inside and outside dining space and you can choose your spot. There were many employees inside the shop but unfortunately they were unskilled cheap labor.

We ordered three local dishes for lunch. We ordered the tom yum soup, pad phong karee and pad thai. For our desert we had the mango sticky rice.
- Tom yum soup was a lot thicker than the others. It was deep with lots of spicies and sour kick to it. They put a whole lot of shallots, lemongrass and other herbs – which squeezed out the juice. It also had rich seafood contents, especially the shrimps. This was true value for money.
- The pad phong karee was also a nice surprise. Pad means to stir-fry, and phong karee means curry powder. But the name omits a key ingredient – eggs. So to be precise, it’s seafood stir fried in a soft custard flavoured with curry powder. This menu was sugary, savory and a perfect match for a bowl of rice.
- Pad thai is our family’s all-time favorite and this menu can never go wrong. Pad thai at Jasmine was rich in seafood contents and decent in portion. The chili flakes could be a bit punchy so make sure you moderate the sprinkle. We loved the overall balance, savoriess and the texture. Would come back for more.

The part where we were a bit disappointed was the service. They were too slow. It took us almost 30 min to get our first dish and the servers didn’t pay any attention to our situation (although they were standing right next to us). In addition, they forgot one dish that we ordered. I would rate the service level to the lowest. But if you happened to stop by, go try the…
