Mie Asang is nested on the main road of Jl. Kartini and is well-known for its mie ayam and pangsit menus.

At first, mie ayam had the usual looks but taking a closer look, there were clear differences. First, there were no Chinese cabbages but chopped green onions. Secondly, chicken meat was minced and generously topped. Lastly, the big surprise was the small bean sprouts. This bean sprout played a crucial role in boosting the overall texture inside the mouth (yes, very crunchy at each bite). The acar (radish) also did its part of adding sweet and sourness into the dish. Amazing!

The pangsit rebus (boiled wonton) was also worth mentioning. However, it wasn’t the pangsit that was surprising but the broth! The broth had deep flavor that had a strong pepper aftertaste. Would recommend when visiting the shop. By the way, the shop closes at 3pm.
