Bakmie Kukuh is a rare shop in the southern part of Jakarta that sells pork bakmi dishes. The shop is located at the basement of the famous Bengkel Space in SCBD.

We had the Bakmie Komplit (Complete) which is a mixture of chicken and pork. It had the chef’s hat – a key recommendation from the shop. Obviously and not surprisingly, the actual dish was in stark contrast to the picture on the menu.
Their flagship menu – Bakmie Komplit – had everything but the harmony wasn’t that great. The meat bits ware a bit dry and small and the veggies didn’t look like they were boiled. Bakso goreng (fried meatballs) seemed like they have been fried and left for a while. I would opt for something else.
Overall, I respect that people can enjoy pork noodle dish in SCBD. I would visit the shop once in a while.
Uniqueness?
