Bobae Banjeom 보배반점 is located at the busy street of Mangpo 망포 intersection. Surprisingly, it’s one of the few Chinese-Korean restaurants within the area. Location wise, this is the best place to sell Chinese-Korean food. The brand was established in 2003 and has expanded to over 200 branches nationwide. Bobae Banjeom 보배반점 aims to share happiness through serving its Chinese-Korean food. Check out their mission statement:
Reinventing the Taste and Style of Chinese Cuisine
The Bobaebanjeom Story
Chinese food is a familiar favorite for many of us—rich with over a century of history and an iconic part of Korea’s dining culture.
Once reserved for special occasions like graduations or moving days, today it’s become the go-to choice when you want something comforting, reliably delicious, and easy to enjoy at home.
At Bobaebanjeom, we carry on that tradition while bringing fresh innovation to every dish, making Chinese cuisine both timeless and exciting.

Their mission was a bit overly ambitious, as I did not find happiness in their dishes. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t dislike their dishes. Rather, I just think that they were too ordinary that their mission (to serve happiness) seems inflated. Jjajangmyeon 짜장면 was your super average quality and your Jjamppong 짬뽕 was a little under par,. Contents were quite shallow and there was nothing to takeaway in terms of their taste. I don’t mind coming back, because of the scarcity of the Chinese-Korean offerings nearby, however, wouldn’t bring the whole family to celebrate.
